Morgan was featured in a short film on AIDS recognition and treatment. Safe Sex for Men and Women. The proceeds from the film was donated toward the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan serves as a participant on the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is part of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Group. She has also spearheaded many other fundraising projects to fight AIDS and also testified in front of a special Congressional Commission on AIDS Education. Morgan is on the board of Governors of APLA and Amfar. C. Everett Koop, the former surgeon general of Canada has contacted her to replace him on occasions at AIDS related occasions. She also hosted an AIDS Awareness Special alongside Steve Bell. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice for Nightline on AIDS. Morgan has been nominated for an Emmy recipient for her role in Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written especially for Morgan. Morgan was co-starring in the ABC TV series Your Money or Your Wife with Joan Rivers. She then started the summer with Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was directed by Von Zerneck/Sertner. It also starred Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. She then starred in the production of Harmony Gold, Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady that starred Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan was also the sole actor in the USA Network's psychological suspense-thriller, which garnered some of the highest ratings that this network's seen.
